Bimini tops are made in a wide range of fabrics such as cotton, mixed blends, polyester, and acrylic.
When deciding upon the type of fabric for your bimini, choose the fabric that is best suited for the weather it will face.

For humid climates, choose a fabric that breathes well and has a high mildew resistance rating.
For climates with snow or heavy rain, choose a fabric that has a high water repellency rating.
For dry or hot climates, choose a fabric with a high UV protection rating.

For side rail or windshield mount, please refer to the specific manufacturer guidelines below.
Please be very careful to not drill into the glass when mounting a bimini top to the windshield. Neither iboats.com nor the bimini top manufacturer is responsible for broken glass due to installation.
Included standard hardware can be used to mount a bimini to the side rails or windshield. (However, it may not work for all applications.)
Included standard hardware cannot be used to mount the bimini top to the side rails or windshield.
Please add one of the following accessories to your order to mount an ENDURATop bimini to the side rails or windshield:
Part #6001 - Nylon Rail & Windshield Mount
Part #6002 - Stainless Rail Mount Adapters (for 7/8" rails only)
Part #6003 - Stainless Windshield Mount Adapter
Included standard hardware can be used to mount a bimini to the side rails or windshield. (However, it may not work for all applications.)
Avoid letting water, snow or other materials like leaves and sticks to stand on biminis.
Use strut braces, straps and a storage boot to store bimini when not in use.
Always allow biminis to dry thoroughly before folding for storage.
Clean the bimini at least once a year with warm water and mild soap (do not dry clean or place bimini in a washing machine or dryer).
Apply a water repellency and UV protection solution to the bimini once a year.
Determine the width of the bimini top by measuring from mounting point to mounting point (where you want the bimini top to attach on one side of the boat to the same location on the opposite side of the boat).
Width selections below are given in 6" ranges. As long as your width measurement falls in the 6" range, your width selection will be correct.
Bimini frames can "flex" 3 inches out or in (i.e. a 54"-60" width bimini assembled will measure approximately 57" in width but can be flexed in to 54" or out to 60").
Width is the most crucial measurement for finding a bimini top. While it is related to the width of your boat, this measurement is not the same as "beam" or boat width.
Determine the height of the bimini top by measuring from the mounting point straight up with a tape measure.
Choose the ideal height to fit your needs.
A Center Console boat will need a taller bimini top, while a Ski Boat needs a shorter bimini top for a sleeker look and ride.
A boat with 30" side rails and a 48" tall bimini top would provide 78" of clearance.
Determine how much of your boat you want covered by your bimini top by choosing the length. Then select a bimini top manufacturer for your new bimini top made to your precise dimensions.
The mounting point is located approximately at the center of the bimini top. A 6 foot bimini top covers 3 feet in front and 3 feet behind the mounting point.
If you are measuring your existing bimini, please note that some bimini tops have a flap or overhang. Do not include this in the length measurement. Measure only from bow pocket to bow pocket.
Tower biminis mount directly onto the frame of your ski/wakeboard tower.
Pick the best position on the tower that will provide the best shade for the driver's seat.
When choosing a bimini height and your mounting point, be sure that the position you select will keep the bimini top high enough to clear both the driver as well as the spotter when seated.
Choose either a 16" height bimini or a 26" height bimini, whichever best fits your needs.
First, measure the width of your tower at the desired mounting point. (Line A on the diagram)
Then, measure 16" up from the mounting point.
Next, measure the width of your tower 16" above the mounting point between the tower legs. (Line B on the diagram)
Width at point A should fall between the measurements listed below.
Width at point B should be greater than the measurements listed below.

Step 1 - Determine the mounting point for your bimini top. The mounting point is where you want the bimini top to attach on the side of the boat. (The bimini top frame will mount at the same location on both sides of the boat.)
Step 2 - Determine the height of the bimini top by measuring from the mounting point straight up with a tape measure.
Choose the ideal height to fit your needs:
A taller bimini top provides more head clearance & room for a spotter or for boats with no or low side rails.
A shorter bimini top provides a sleeker look & ride and works well for boats with high side rails.
A Pontoon Boat with 30" side rails and a 56" tall bimini top would provide 86" of clearance.
Step 3 - Determine the width of the bimini top by measuring from mounting point to mounting point. Select the width that closest matches the width between your mounting points.
Pontoon boats are usually either 96" wide or 102" wide. Select the bimini top width accordingly. Note: Bimini frames can "flex" out or in.
Note: 1 1/4" square tubing is available for 56" high pontoon bimini tops. This tubing matches the 1 1/4" OEM rail tubing available on most pontoons.
